A fanciful view of Nyack Beach with a view of the quarry at Rockland Landing in the distance, 1 1/4 miles north of Nyack Beach.
Summer visitors would arrive by steamboat from New York City. Nyack Beach, Hook Mountain Beach, Haverstraw Beach, and Bear
Mountain State Park formed a chain of parks that attracted people arriving by cars and boats. The postcard is likely from
the 1920s.
